As we enter the New Year, I am fondly remembering the famous “Flower Power” photograph , taken by Bernie Boston during the March on the Pentagon October 21, 1967, and much later the Paul McCartney concert attended by Vladimir Putin, in Red Square, where the Beatles music was once banned, and Paul played “Back in The USSR” My wish for the New Year is that there could be more iconic events such as these and less sabre-rattling and agression.
